Identification

Identification is crucial to knowing what action will be needed to help you with your bee issue. There are some bees that do not require any action at all. The best way to do this is by sending us some pictures via any of the whats app links throughout these pages. Alternatively send us an email from our contact page.

Survey

If your bees have been identified as bumbles or solitary bees there will be a limited amount of action that can be taken, and a lot will depend on where they are situated. If your bees have been identified as Honey bees you will require a survey so that we can ascertain exactly where they are in the building, and the best way to remove them.

Removal

4

No one removal is the same, and there can be a number of complications and obstacles to overcome during the process. As a proud member of the UKBR we follow their healthy bee plan which ensures the bees are removed with as much care as possible and implementing Brambells five freedoms. A photographic documentation is carried out on all projects and for our commercial clients a completion report is produced.

Relocation

Unlike some bee removal companies Westart Apiaries relocates and manages the recovery stage of the bee removal process in house. Where possible we avoid moving colonies long distances and will find beekeepers close by who are affiliated to the UKBR's Responsible beekeeping Register. Westart Apiaries works closely with the agricultural community in Staffordshire, and after a quarantine period, the bees are placed at permanent apiary sites to pollinate local crops.
